October 2020

October 17, Bogertophis subocularis:

Between 14 and 16 October five blond phase juvenile hatched. Two eggs where infertile.

October 4, Corallus hortulanus

A yellow female Corallus hortulanus gave birth to a litter of 7 infertile eggs and one dead juvenile today. The juvenile was fully grown, coloured nicely red and the membrane was still intact. No abnormalities observed (except being dead…)

One of my red Corallus hortulanus  gave birth to a large litter today. A bit of a disappointing score though: seven juvenile alive, one dead and six infertile eggs.
